Our Team
Megan Hill, Psychotherapist
Megan is an adult psychotherapist. She is a BACP member and a BPC registered psychodynamic counsellor, and adheres to their strict ethical frameworks for good practice.
You may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain if things can get better. Perhaps you’ve been struggling for a while, or are dealing with a sudden crisis. Megan offers a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space to explore how past influences, and thoguhts and feelings below the surface may be impacting your present.
Together, we can explore the thoughts, feelings and experiences that shape your inner world and work to uncover the root of your difficulties. This can foster a deeper understanding of yourself, supporting meaningful change, self-awareness, emotional wellbeing and improved relationships - with both yourself and with others.
In addition to her private practice in Winchester, Megan has worked as a counsellor in university education since 2020. She has extensive experience in psycho-oncology, including her previous role as Head of Support for a cancer charity, and clinical experience in hospice care. Currently undertaking advanced training at the Institute of Psychoanalysis, Megan continues to deepen her psychoanalytic thinking.
Megan offers sessions in person at the Winchester Psychotherapy consulting room in the town centre, or online. Sessions are weekly and 50 minutes long. She generally works in an open ended way, but a specific time frame can be arranged for the therapy if preferred. Before scheduling an initial consultation, she offers a complimentary brief telephone conversation to explore your needs.
